~ Thank You Whimsy Stamps for Such an Awesome Release ~

Everyone is in need of thank you cards and Whimsy Stamp's new Thanks Word with Shadow Die Set is so cool.  You can use them several different ways. I chose to use all three dies together and paired it with the new Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp.  Using my Misti I was able to stamp the background so easily.  I just turned and shifted my paper each time using a different color of Memento Dye Ink.  You could have a batch of these cards made quickly and ready to go in different color combos.

When I designed this card, I didn't realize that "Living Coral" was Pantone's color of the year.  I just knew I wanted to use more springy colors because this girl is tired of winter already!

~ Whimsy Stamp's New Release is Shining Bright ~

Meet Whimsy Stamp's newest angel, Celeste, designed by Marina Fedotova.  Isn't she darling?!  I thought this sentiment from the Shine Bright Clear Stamp Set was perfect to put with her.  If you don't have this set yet, you need it!  It is full of awesome sentiments for so many different occasions!

Since the Sparkletz Winter Wishes jewels are a soft lilac and transparent, I was able to color on the back of them with my BV04 Copic Marker to get the jewels to really stand out and match her gown.  I took one of the Envelope Edger Dies and trimmed the scallops to fit at the bottom of the image layer.  I think this adds delicacy to this sweet card. 

Celeste looks so angelic with her sparkly wings and surrounded by Sparkletz's Crystal Stars.

~ Day 3 of La La Lands 2019 CHA Release ~

Welcome to day three of La-La Land Craft's 2019 CHA release.  I hope you have been enjoying all the projects I have been sharing with you!  I love panda bears and I just adore this panda from the Love Notes Rubber Stamp Set.  His face just cracks me up!  And what's a love note without and envelope?!  You could put a little tiny love note inside as a surprise.  

I think the Postage Stamps Die Set suits this card perfectly and the red rhinestones on the Heart Garland adds a special touch.

For my second project I am using this adorable dragon from the Dream Come True Clear Stamp Set.  His magic wand is actually one of the Shooting Star Dies.  All it needed was a little glitter to give it its magic.  To make the castle walls, I use the dies from the Postage Stamp Die Set and the Once Upon a Time Background Stamp to make the walls look like stone.  The royal family is getting ready for a birthday celebration, so I added the Stage Curtain Die as a fabric banner.  Now all that is left is for the dragon to grant someone's birthday wish!

~ Day 2 of La La Land Craft's 2019 CHA Release ~

I am using Ballerina Marci for my first project today from La-La Land Craft's new 2019 CHA release.  I decided to showcase Ballerina Marci as I am a trained ballerina (a little something you didn't know about me).  I went to a very strict ballet school where we all had to where a light blue ruffled leotard with light pink tights and our hair in a bun.  The only difference is, we had to wear pink ballet slippers with pink ribbons that our moms had to sew on but I put Ballerina Marci in blue ballet slippers because she is dancing in a recital and I felt her ballet slippers needed to match her tutu.  Ballerina Marci definitely looks like a prima ballerina.

Looking at this card brings back such fond memories of all the lessons, recitals and especially all of the excitement and butterflies we all had before going on stage.

My second project to share with you today is a little mini album featuring Unicorn Molli.  She is the fashionista of all unicorns.  Doesn't she have the cutest 'lil attitude?!  This album is full of all the new amazing dies that La-La Land is releasing.  I'm pretty sure you will want them all!!!



I created this little album with affirmations we all need to say to ourselves...we are all unique in our own little ways and need to embrace who we are...we are brave each and every single day and we all need to remember to sparkle as you never know who needs a little kindness and a smile.

Isn't this new Build-A-Unicorn Die stinkin' adorable?!  Oh how I wish I had those eyelashes!

The Curved Pocked Die and this tag from the Large Stitched Tags Die Set work perfectly together.  The tag is a perfect place to add a message or affirmation that I want to remember.

I was so excited about the new Double Stitched Stars Die Set that I couldn't help myself but turn it into a shaker.



I used the second to largest tag from the Large Stitched Tags Die Set and used the Small Envelope Die to make this adorable envelope.  I left the small envelope open so I could add a little message later...like from a fortune cookie that I will want to save...lol



The largest size tag in the Large Stitched Tags Die Set is my favorite size.  You can make a mini tag book just out of a bunch of these...I am so looking forward to do just that!

There is plenty of room for me to add more affirmations, pictures, or things that bring me joy.

~ Day One of La La Land Craft's 2019 CHA Release ~

Hello Everyone and welcome to day one of La La Land Craft's new CHA Release.  It is going to be an exciting few days sharing with you all the new crafty goodness coming your way!  The Traveling Cats Clear Stamp Set is just too cute for words.  This 'lil guy reminded me of my dad when I was a child.  He was a navigator in the Air Force and I would see him in his olive green jumpsuit when we would go visit him at the base, so I couldn't resist making this 'lil guy one, too!  I made the accent die pieces in navy as that is the main color of the Air Force and because my dad traveled, I made the card look like luggage and used the label die from the Curved Pocket Die Set and the Large Stitched Tags Die Set to make a luggage tag.  I, of course, had to make it into a shaker card.  You know how much I love a shaker card!

I just adore this card and I hope you do, too!

For my second project, I am using one of the cutie patootie pandas from The Key to my Heart Stamp Set.  I wanted him to look like a wind up toy that hops across the floor so I used the ornate part of the key to be the winder.  I thought it would be fitting for this card to be a shaker.

~ Kooky Over Whimsy Stamp's New Release ~

I'm baaaack...this time showcasing Whimsy Stamp's new Kooky Monster Clear Stamp Set and the new Moon Background Rubber Stamp.  I cannot tell you how much fun this kooky lil monster was to color.  He may look grumpy but he has a heart full of love!  I knew when I saw the new Moon Background Stamp that I wanted to use Whimsy's Bold ABC Die Set to spell the word "moon" and pop the letters up.  How cool is this dimensional impact?!

I used Whimsy's new Wonky Windows 1 Die to create the shaker.  This die is so fun and makes it so easy to create a shaker out of just one window.  I mixed in some glow in the dark "moon rocks" in with Whimsy's fun shaker bits.  Who wouldn't want to receive not only an interactive card but one that glows in the dark, too?!

Here is a close-up of the letters so you can see how cool this technique is.  To make the letters really stand out, I adhered red letters offset behind the moon background letters.  To create the outer space, I sponged Milled Lavender, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks onto a piece of white cardstock and spritzed it with water using the Distress Sprayer to create a background that matched the moon colors and added Sparkletz Crystal Stars for an added fun outer space look.  I really love how this card turned out!

~ Flippin' Over Whimsy Stamp's New Release ~

Welcome to Whimsy Stamp's newest release!  I created this fun interactive shaker card using the  adorable dolphin from the new Whale of a Time Clear Stamp Set and the must have Shaker Maker Combo Die Set.  This die set is so versatile and I use it all the time.  I used the clouds from the Grass and Cloud Edger Die Set to give the ocean waves a dimensional and ocean foam impact.  

I created the ocean using Whimsy's Making Waves Stencil and Nuvo's "Blue Topaz" Glimmer Paste.  This color is incredibly beautiful and is one of my must have Glimmer Paste colors!

I adhered all the dolphins on Mini Action Wobble Springs so they wiggle and wobble when you shake the card.  These springs really add a fun and dimensional element to any card!  These springs are small enough for most images.  As you can see, you can't even see them when looking at the card from the front.  Here is a close-up pic from an angle so you can see how I adhered them to the card.
