Welcome to La-La Land Craft's September 2019 Release!

I cannot even begin to express how much I love this new release!  My project today highlights Vacation Mona.  She was a total dream to color...isn't she just darling?!  Mona's libation of choice is one of my favorite drinks, a Margarita with salt lining the rim of the glass...Yummmmm!



Along with Vacation Mona, this new release is full of amazing new dies,  three new designer 6" x 6" paper packs, a new background stamp set, three new clear stamp sets and a new layering stencil set.  My card is featuring the new Port Hole Die Set, the Tiki Hut Island Die, and one of the new palm leaf dies from the Tropical Leaves Die Set.  The sentiment is from the new Stress Free Zone Background Stamp Set.  I made the cloud background with the new cloud stencil that comes in the Summer Is Here Layering Stencil Set and the background paper I chose is from the new Golden Sunset Designer Paper Pack.  Now the beach is calling my name and I must go!

~ Whimsy Stamps - Eek Halloween Banner ~

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I am sharing with you a fun halloween banner I have made using the adorable Fuzzy Spider Clear Stamp Set from Whimsy Stamps.  Aren't these spiders the cutest?!



I used Whimsy's Shaker Maker Pennant Die Set and turned the pennants into candy corn shakers. This banner was so much fun to create!



I used Whimsy's Bold ABC Die Set to spell out the word, EEK.  I layered the letters to make them appear 3D.



I wish all spiders were this cute...LOL!

I love to decorate for halloween and this will be a deliciously sweet addition to my decorating addiction!

For my first project, I used Marci with Lemons and took the lemon from the Lemonade Word Die and turned it into a lemon wreath.  I used the Mandala Doily Die as the base for my lemon wreath shaker.  I absolutely love the Mandala Doily Die and I think it's the perfect addition to this bright, cheery, summery card.

For my second project, I made a delightful summer scene that most of us as children have experienced...a lemonade stand.  I used two of the adorable mice that come in the kit and turned the lemonade stand into a shaker.  This card just makes me happy looking at it!

~ La-La Land Crafts - I'm Under Your Spell ~

Hello My Crafty Peeps!

Today's Inspiration Friday Challenge is monochromatic.  Monochromatic is one of my very favorite coloring and card making techniques.  For today's project I decided to use purples and I am totally in love!



I just adore the bats that come in the Batty For You Clear Stamp Set.  They have the cutest faces and are so much fun to color!  I wanted to create a scene where the bat was flying over the haunted hill and past a full moon.  I thought it would be cool to make the moon into a shaker and have the cobweb appear in front and have the shaker bits shining through the web.  I really love how my vision came together to create this awesome monochromatic card.

I just can't resist the adorable kitties that come in this month's kit.  They remind me of my own kitty, Lala.  She is always up for some mischievous fun...LOL



I wanted to keep this card on the more clean and simple side.  I added some clear Wink of Stella to the eyes and mouths of the jack o'lanterns to make them look like they were all lit up and to make the bat look like it was flying, I added some mini silver rhinestones.  I really love the way the zig zag stitching from the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles Die Set looks.  I think it added a fun design element to my card.

For my first card, I couldn't resist using Whimsy's Peekaboo Window's 4 Die to help me create this cat and mouse game.  How fun is it seeing this uber adorable mouse trying to escape the paw paws of this witchy l'il kitty?!



I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the pot of goo to give it a fun eerie sparkle along with some green pearls for floating bubbles.  I popped up the pot using foam tape to give the card some added dimension.
