~ Day One of La-La Land Craft's June New Release ~

Hello my crafty peeps!

Today La-La Land Craft's is releasing a few of their most adorable past club kits in a mini release now available for everyone to purchase as individual items.  I happen to be on vacation but I wanted to be a part of this release, so I am doing a memory post showcasing my past Club La-La Crafts design team cards showcasing the July 2019 Club Kit. This kit happens to be my ALL TIME FAVORITE KIT EVER!!!

For my first card, I am showcasing one of the hamsters in the Coffee Is Life Clear Stamp Set as some of the most famous super hero characters.  This card, hands down, is my very favorite card that I have ever designed.  I had so much fun turning this hamster into all these different super heroes!  This card took me a week to perfect, partially because I wanted to take great care in creating each super hero and partially because I was having so much fun with my idea that I didn't want to rush.

My grandson says Hulk Hammie is still his favorite!

You can find my original post HERE for a list of Copic Markers, extra products used and creative details.

For my second card, let's here it for all the girl super heroes!  We can't forget that super heroes come in all different shapes, sizes, colors, genders and species!  This super hero just happens to be a girl who loves spiders and the color pink...lol

You can find my original post HERE for a list of Copic Markers, extra products used and creative details.

For my third card, I am showcasing Coffee Mug Marci.  Coffee Mug Marci loves leopard print and lattes with extra whipped cream.  You know your latte is extra yummy when you get a whipped cream mustache!
You can find my original post HERE for a list of Copic Markers, extra products used and creative details.

Card number four is featuring a hamster running on coffee, LITERALLY!  This hamster wheel actually spins.  How awesome is that?!

You can find my original post HERE for a list of Copic Markers, extra products used and creative details.

Card number five is featuring another hamster running in his wheel but this time he is wearing a snazzy velour jogging suit...lol

Hahaha...he just cracks me up!
You can find my original post HERE for a list of Copic Markers, extra products used and creative details.

For my sixth and final card down Coffee Hamster memory lane, we can't forget that even hamsters celebrate Christmas and have their very own Santa Hammie!

This Santa Hammie not only loves coffee but hot chocolate with whipped cream and shaved chocolate on top.  Oh, he also has a sweet tooth...yogurt drop meringues happen to be his very favorite special treat...lol

I hope you have enjoyed my special trip down memory lane as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you!

~ Bundle of Joy Faux Shaker Slimline Card - La-La Land Crafts ~

Hello Friends!

I have been so inspired by La-La Land Craft's newest release that I can't seem to stop making baby cards.  I previously showed you my boy version of this faux shaker card.  If you would like to know how to make one for yourself and how I came about creating it, you can find it HERE.

I loved my idea so much that I couldn't resist making not only a girl version with these adorable ducklings but one for those expecting twins.

This card is laid out like my boy version but with a few changes.  I am totally in love with the designer papers that come in the new "Hello Baby Paper Pack"!  I used the same designs as my boy one but, of course, changed the color to pink.  I also used pink translucent sequins, champagne colored rhinestones and pink glitter to compliment my project.

I love how the hanging stars from the "Moon And Stars Banner Die" look hanging from the "Filigree Moon."

In this photo you can see how much sparkly goodness comes from the pink iridescent sequins shining through the filigree openings.

I used two different sized diecuts using the "Stitched Ribbon Die Set" as a separation between the two different designer papers.  This has become one of my favorite die sets.  It is extremely versatile.  It can easily be dressed up to enhance your projects as I did here adding a line of champagne colored rhinestones to add some extra sparkle.

Since I didn't need a pocket for the front of my card, I created the floral border by trimming down a diecut from the "Floral Pocket Die."  Don't forget, if you don't have a particular diecut for your project, start looking at what you do have and see what you can trim to fit.  I love being able to use my craft goodies in different ways!

For the inside of this card, I used the "Baby Onesie Die" instead of the "Baby Shoe Die" like I used on my boy version.

The ruffle die is such a sweet addition to the "Baby Onesie Die Set."  I added two ruffles to make them look more dimensional and to tie in the kraft cardstock.  It's hard to see in the photo but I also embossed the white ruffle with the polka dot stencil from the "Snowy Hills Layering Stencil Set."

For the girl version of my pocket, I added ruffles to make the pocket more girly.  I also embossed the white part of the pocket with the polka dot stencil from the "Snowy Hills Layering Stencil Set."  This is one of my favorite stencils.  I love the randomness and the sizes of the dots.

~ Faux Shaker Cutie Pie Slimline Card - La-La Land Crafts ~

Happy Friday!

Today I am sharing with you for my Inspiration Friday project a little something I have decided to call a faux shaker.  I really really wanted to turn these gorgeous "Filigree Moon" and "Filigree Stars" into real shakers, but due to their delicate lines, I was not able to accomplish it.  So, not to be out done by my idea, I turned them into faux shakers!  Each little filigree opening is full of sparkly goodness!

Instead of having a cow jumping over the moon for this darling baby card, how about an adorable duckling from the "You Lucky Duck Clear Stamp Set" sitting on the moon amongst the stars.  I added a few hanging stars from the "Moon And Stars Banner" to the "Filigree Moon."

To create the shaker, first diecut the filigree moon and stars.  I adhered a double layer of
dimensional foam tape to the back of the moon and a single layer under the stars.  You will have to trim the dimensional foam tape very tiny.  Evenly place foam tape onto the larger areas that allow enough room for the adhesive and to make the diecuts sturdy.  I used tweezers to attach to the foam tape to the diecuts.  After adhering the diecuts to the card, I used tacky glue and tweezers to adhere the sequins under each filigree opening, being careful not to get the tacky glue onto my beautiful designer paper.  This is fun and easy to do.   I am totally in love with how my idea turned out!

I love to use my dies in ways they weren't intended for.  The "Floral Pocket Die" is so delicate and beautiful that I thought it would make a complementary addition to the filigree moon and stars.  Because I didn't need a pocket for the front, I just trimmed it to the size I needed and a new floral flourish border was created.

Here is a close-up photo of how sparkly the sequins look through the filigree openings.

I decided to decorate the inside of this card using the "Three Pockets Die Set"so that it would allow a gift card to be tucked inside.

I seriously cannot get enough of this darling "Baby Shoe Die"!
I stamped the insole using the background stamp from the "Your Kindness Background Stamp Set" and Memento's Toffee Crunch Ink Pad.  I added little stars to the sides of the shoe using the star diecut that comes out of the Rock Star Die.

The little tab diecut from the "Three Pockets Die Set" just adds the sweetest l'il touch!
To make the tab look like fabric, I stamped it using the same background stamp and ink pad as the baby shoe insole.
The sentiment is from the "Bundle Of Joy Clear Stamp Set" and it fits perfectly on the front of the pocket.
