~ This Moose be Love ~

Hi Everyone,

My brother asked me to make a card for his bride for their 15th wedding anniversary.  He told me something cute and fun and this is what I came up with.  What could be cuter than a shaker card and a moose in love?!  

 I put the shaker inside of another frame and popped the moose on top.  I cut up the sides of his legs and made it look like he was sitting amongst the grass.  You can see the dimension in the picture below.

 This cutie patootie stamp called Penguin Candy Cane from Whimsy Stamps is ready to send out the sweetest of Christmas wishes this season.  Don't you just want to pinch her little cheeks?! I couldn't resist using this yummy pink and white paper with sweet treats all over it for this image.  I just love all of these layers and how just pops of pink and teal really make this card stand out.  

 I think I need her hat, too!

This adorable stamp called Penguin Christmas Sweetheart from Whimsy Stamps is ready to send some Christmas love to all your family and friends.  I love how this card turned out to look like a present.  The scallop and middle strips actually wrap around the card and slide off and the card opens up from the center.   This card would be perfect if you were giving someone a gift card.  All you would have to do is adhere the gift card with a piece of double stick tape to the inside of the card.  It would feel like they were opening up a present!

~ Penguin Peek-a-Boo ~

It's time to shake it up Penguin style!  I couldn't resist putting these adorable Penguins from Whimsy Stamp's Penguin Holiday Squares Clear Stamp Set into this peek-a-boo die from Lawn Fawn.  I liked that I was able to just make one section of the die-cut a shaker.  I created two window scenes using the Winter Wonderland Border Die from Cottage Cutz and the the wavy die from the Pierced Border Trio Die set from Whimsy Stamps.  The Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop Die from Lawn Fawn added the perfect snowy backdrop to the card.

What's a snowy scene without some bling!  Crystal Glitter from Stampendous and Nuvo White Crystal Drops add the perfect touch to finish off this super fun card.

I have another adorable snake card to share with you today.  I still can't get over how fun these snake cards have been to make, especially since I do not like snakes of any kind!  They just give me the creeps....ick! The name of the set from Whimsy Stamps is called " The Nope Rope" which is very fitting.  Maybe making cute snake cards will turn my dislike into like. Well, it sounds good anyway...LOL  I know there are a lot of snake lovers out there who would enjoy getting a cute snake card and this card does represent my home state of Arizona very well, so it will be fun to send out!

I don't know about you but I can't just choose one donut.  If you're gonna have one, you might as well go all in....LOL  I can't help it...they always look so yummy!  

I loved how Barbara from Forgotten Scraps colored her "Donut" word, so I decided to do my own take on her version.  To make the RV17 look like icing, I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze.  I colored the icing of my chocolate cream filled donut with the color combo Barbara used on her twist donut.  I think it really gives it a realistic look.  You can see her awesome donut card HERE.  

To make my donuts look extra delicious, I added Clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer, Nuvo Crystal Glaze for the icing and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White for the cream...definitely one of each, please!!!

~ We Go Together Like Espresso & Donuts ~

Whimsy Stamp's Donut Birthdays Clear Stamp Set, Coffee Break Clear Stamp Set, Coffee Cup Die Set and Espresso-ly Great Clear Stamp Set go together...well, like espresso and donuts....lol  You can mix them to make so many different cards...so much so, I made a class out of them.  You can see one HERE and the other one HERE.  Stay tuned, I will showcase another one in a few days.

I added Clear Wink of Stella to the icing for some shimmer and covered it with Nuvo Crystal Glaze to make it look extra yummy!  I created the corrugated coffee sleeve with my Scor-Pal, however, you can easily do this with a paper crimper.

~ Donuts & Sprinkles Always Go Together ~

It's always a celebration when you mix donuts and sprinkles together!  I absolutely love making shaker cards and what's more fun than making one with sprinkles?!  These donuts from Whimsy Stamp's Donut Birthdays stamp set crack me up.  I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the pink stripes of the chocolate donut and Crystal Snow White Fine Glitter from Stampendous to the donut twist to give them some extra deliciousness!

When you shake the card, the sprinkles roll into the holes that the Snowfall Panel die makes from Your Next Stamp, which makes the card fun to play with!

 I found these super cute colored sprinkles at Hobby Lobby.  They match the Cream & Sugar paper from Doodlebug Design perfectly.

~ A Liquid Hug ~

How can you not feel hugged after seeing these adorable cups of coffee?!  They are just, too, cute!!!  I wanted this card to resemble a quaint cafe' so I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die plate for the table, Whimsy Stamp's Envelope Edgers Die Set for the tablecloths, Darice's Brick Wall Embossing Folder for, well, the brick wall...lol...and Lawn Fawn's Stitched Scalloped Border dies for the valance.  I made the sentiment look like a sign hanging on the wall.  I am so happy how this card turned out.  It just makes me smile!

I used Tonic's Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White to give the whipped cream some extra dimension.

~ Potted Birdhouse ~

This charming image from DoveArt's new release with Whimsy Stamps is called "Potted Birdhouse".  The flowers remind of Hydrangeas, which I absolutely LOVE!  This stamp is super fast and super fun to color up, which is especially nice if you need a quick card!  We all need one of those from time to time.

To give the card a little extra dimension, I stamped out and colored a second set of flowers to pop-up.  It really gives the illusion that the flowers and leaves are hanging out over the flower pot.

~ Have A Sun Shiny Day ~

I am so honored to be asked again to be a guest designer for The Paper Nest Doll's.  I love chickens and am a country girl at heart so when I saw Ellie with her cute little hen, I knew I had to make a card with her.  Living on a cute little hobby farm with with my own brood of chickens would be a dream come true!

I created the woodgrain on the fence and the hen house by using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop to give my card stock the woodgrain look and coloring the card stock with E59 and E79 to give it the old barn wood color.  To make the fence I used Lawn Fawn's Picket Fence border.  I made the hen house by cutting and paper piecing the woodgrain card stock I had created.  My brood of hens love their little house!

~ Oh My Deer...Dream! ~

I am beyond honored and excited to share with you that I am one of La-La Land's Guest Designer's this month!  I have loved their stamps and dies for like EVER!!!  I could not help myself from making a card with La-La Land's new adorable "Spring Woodland Critters" clear stamp set. SWOON!!!  The critters just speak soft dreamy colors to me so I decided to go with lavender.  Doesn't this scene look like the fawn is in a romantic forest with lilac petals floating all around!

I created the dotted background by using Tonic Studio's Lilac Lavender Nuvo Embellishment Mousse and their Beautiful Bokeh 6 x 6 Stencil.

To give the trees that Birch tree look, I brushed on Nuvo Pure Platinum and Gunmetal Grey Embellishment Mousse with my finger.

I watercolored the deer using a mixture Tim Holtz's Distress Markers and Tombow Markers.  

Distress Markers:  Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, Brushed Corduroy, Black Soot, Spun Sugar, Dusty Concord and Peeled Paint.  Tombow Markers:  990 and N00 (Blender Pen)

To make her nose and the spots on her back stand out I used Nuvo Ebony Black and Simply White Crystal Drops.
