~ Whimsy Stamps - Happy Holly Daze ~

Hi, Friends!

Today I am sharing with you a tutorial using a new stamp set from Whimsy Stamps called Santa and Stockings.  I am featuring Santa and Rudolph on my card today.

~ Step by Step ~

Cut white cardstock at 5 1/2" x 11" and score at 5 1/2" to create card base.

Stamp image and color with Copic Markers (See color list below).  Add white gel pen to Santa and Rudolph's noses for a highlight.  Add glitter to the snow on the chimney using a glue pen.  Trim around image leaving an 1/8" white border.  Set aside.

Cut white cardstock to 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base.  Cut white cardstock to 5 1/8" x 5 1/8", stamp Snow Flurry Background Stamp using Versamark Ink and emboss using Hologrpahic Embossing Powder.  Adhere to card.

Die cut white cardstock using the fourth largest die from the Notched Squares Die Set.  Die cut two pieces of white cardstock using the fourth largest circle die from the Pierced and Stitched Circles Die Set.  Adhere one circle to the middle of the notched square using repositionable adhesive for a mask.  Sponge Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Broken China, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks around the circle die cut.  Remove circle and throw away if you got ink on it.  Lay Snow Dangle Stencil on top of notched square and use Purple Tape to hold into place.  Using a spatula, spread Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste through the stencil.  Set aside to dry.  Add glitter to the second circle die cut using a glue pen.  Once glimmer paste is dry, adhere glittered circle die cut to notched square with the circle slightly overhanging over the bottom edge.  Trim off excess.  Adhere to card using foam tape.

Die cut white cardstock using the smallest triangle from the Shaker Maker Pennant Die Set.  Die cut the triangle again using the smallest triangle from the Shaker Maker Pennant Die Set to create the shaker window.  Add glitter to triangle using glue pen.  Adhere acetate to back of triangle.  Stamp out enough bricks of the chimney to fill in the inside of the triangle, trim out the bottom two layers of bricks and adhere to a scrap triangle piece of white cardstock.  Trim to fit triangle.  Color bricks with Copic Markers.  Add Diamond Dust on top of the bricks and adhere the triangle window using foam tape to create the shaker.  Adhere to card.

Adhere Santa and Rudolph to card using foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial...Ho Ho Ho Happy Holly Daze!

~ La-La Land Crafts - To You From Me Tag ~

Happy Friday My Crafty Friends!

Today's Team Friday challenge is to use the new release.  One of my favorite animals is a bunny.  I love, love, love bunnies from their long soft ears, twitching little nose, to their fluffy tails!  The bunnies in La-La Land Craft's new Snow Amazing Clear Stamp Set just crack me up...they are so cute!  Look at this l'il guys face, I couldn't resist.

My creation is full of my favorite things...my favorite animal, my love for making tags and what else, of course, a shaker!

I added red and white iridescent sequins in my shaker along with teeny tiny styrofoam snowballs for some added fun.

The scalloped edge and hearts on this tag from the Photo Elements Die Set is such a sweet touch.  Don't forget that banners make great tags, too!  I punched a hole at the end of the banner and added the rounded hole enforcer die cut from the Stitched Tags Die Set to bring in that added decorative tag element.

~ Whimsy Stamps - Wishing You a Sweet Season ~

Hello My Sweet Friends!

Today I am back sharing with you another card I made using Whimsy Stamp's Candy Cane Lane Clear Stamp Set.  You can see my other card HERE.  I can't get enough of this darling set!

Today's creation is a shaker card using Whimsy's new Wonky Window 3 DieWhimsy has the greatest dies to create fun shaker cards with!  The new die reminded me of a present when horizontal so I used pattern paper for wrapping paper and added the tall Christmas suckers along with the darling little bow that comes in the Candy Cane Lane Clear Stamp Set as wrapping embellishments.

My grandson and I love to make a gingerbread house every year, so I couldn't resist adding this cutie in one of the windows along with Diamond Dust as snow.

I added multi ultra-fine glitter to all the gumdrops for sugar before adding to my shaker windows.  I think they look delicious!

~ La-La Land Crafts - Dear Santa ~

Happy Friday My Crafty Friends!

Today's Inspiration Friday challenge is to use the new release.  This new release is so awesome and my favorite thus far that it made this challenge so easy!

The moment I saw the Santa stamp carrying his gift bag in the Dear Santa Clear Stamp Set and the Chimney Die, I knew that I wanted to  figure out a way to have him going down the chimney to deliver presents.  I had so much fun creating this scene that so many little girls and boys dream of on Christmas Eve.

I created the house by configuring several diecuts of the Fireplace Die to the size that fit underneath the roof diecut from the Gingerbread House Add-On Die Set.  I added multi ultra-fine glitter to the scalloped roof die cut and then adhered it to the brick front using a double layer of foam tape.  I adhered the garland and bows before adhering the Vintage Window diecut.  After diecutting the Vintage Window Die, I trimmed down a scrap piece of white cardstock the size of the window, colored it with Copics and used Blending Solution and a piece of terry cloth to texture the window so it would have a more stained glass appearance.  I adhered the Vintage Window diecut using a precision point glue pen to the colored piece of cardstock.  I trimmed the window down to fit the front of the house and adhered it using foam tape.  I adhered the chimney to the roof using foam tape.  I added multi ultra-fine glitter to all the snowy diecuts using a glue pen.  The night sky is from the new Blue Christmas Paper Pack.  I created the moon using a circle die from the Stitched Nested Circles Die Set, colored it with Copics and used Blending Solution and a piece of terry cloth to give the moon texture.  I adhered the night sky and the moon to a white scalloped rectangle die cut and adhered to the card base.  I adhered the house to the sky using foam tape.  For extra fun, I colored up the sleigh from the Horse Sleigh Die using Copics and adhered it to the card using foam tape.

~ Whimsy Stamps - Welcome To Candy Cane Lane ~

Good Morning Friends!

Today I am sharing a project I made using Whimsy Stamp's Candy Cane Lane Clear Stamp Set.  It is full of sweet Christmas cuteness!

I dreamed up the idea of using one of the rainbow dies in the Array of Rainbows Die Set as the lane when I read the "Welcome To Candy Cane Lane" sentiment.  I just love how my vision came to life!

Squeeeee....isn't this Santa the absolute cutest?!

The wooden sign is a stamp from the Christmas Hoo Clear Stamp Set in Whimsy's November Paper Door Kit.  Sadly the kit sold out before I could post my card.  I embossed a white panel using the Dot Embossing Folder from Darice for added dimension and to look like snow.  I added some delicate snowflakes from the No-See All Seasons Tree Die Set and added multi ultra-fine glitter for some shimmer.

This card is definitely full of Christmas spirit!!!
