~ Trick or Sweets with La-La Land Crafts ~

Hi Everyone,

I'm sharing with you today my latest La-La Land Craft's Inspiration Friday creation.  These cutie patootie bats are all dressed up for some trick or sweets for halloween.  They look like they are having a blast and I'm pretty sure they love sweets more than they like playing tricks!

I combined the bats from the Batty for You clear stamp set and the costumes and pumpkins from the Happy Boo to You clear stamp set to create this card.  Now these cuties are ready for a night of fun!

I was easily able to stamp and layer color over the sentiment just the way I wanted using my Misti.  I first stamped it using a Versafine Onyx Black ink pad to get a beautiful black impression and then I inked up the sentiment layering Distress Inks in Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade.  I love how it turned out!  This card really makes me want some Candy Corn!!!

~ Brewin' Up Some Fun with La-La Land Crafts ~

Happy Friday Everyone,

I brewed up a double shaker card for this week's La-Land Crafts Inspiration Friday creation.  If you've been following me, you know how much I love shaker cards but I also love making tags!  Why not combine the two and have twice the fun!  

I used actual halloween sprinkles for my shaker bits...I think they are a perfect addition!

Here is a close-up of all the yummy layers.

La-La Land makes it so easy to create a card with all their fabulously fun images and all of their die choices!  I think I need them all!!!

~ La-La Land Crafts ~ Peek-a-Boo ~

Hi Everyone,

La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday Team challenge today is "use a stencil or make one from a die."  I chose to make one from the Birch Trees Die and airbrush using my Copics.  These little hedgehogs are having fun playing peek-a-boo in the forest!  This card turned out exactly how I had pictured it in my mind.  

Airbrushing is such a fun, easy, fast and cool technique....plus, it uses less ink than coloring with your Copics.  To keep the trees in place while airbrushing, I used Scrapbook Adhesive's Repositionable E-Z Dots.

~ O Christmas Tree...O Christmas Tree ~

Doesn't this lil' penguin from Whimsy Stamps make the cutest Christmas tree or even better, a Christmas present?!  He has so much Christmas cheer to spread around!  This scene was so much fun to create...I am really happy how it turned out.  

I used the large oval die from Whimsy Stamp's Basic Stitched Ovals Die Set and cut in half to make the rug.  I used Darice's Stripe Embossing Folder to make the plank wall and La-La Land Craft's Presents Border Die.  The presents are easy to cart apart to spread the presents around.  I added foam tape to the presents on the rug to give a more 3D effect.

~ Get Well with Nurse Lucy ~

This week on Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Page the sponsor is C.C. Designs and I am featuring Swiss Pixie Nurse Lucy.  I think she would make anyone feel better!  I used The Stamp Doctor's Flip Flop Die to create this card.  This die cuts like butter and makes making this card so much easier than measuring, cutting and scoring it yourself!!!  

I used Whimsy Stamp's Bold ABC Die Set for the letters.  I layered them to make them look 3D and popped them up with foam tape.  I love how they really stand out!

~ La-La Land Crafts - Hey Pumpkin ~

I'm baaaaack...This time I'm showcasing Autumn Marci from La-La Land Craft's new release.  Isn't she darling?!  I love making cards with so many dimensional layers and La-La Land's dies make it so easy!!!  I created the pumpkin patch sign using the new Twigs Die.  It is my favorite die from this release.  It is the coolest die and so versatile!  I have used it on all three of my new release projects.

I used Copic's Blender Solution and terry cloth to give her jacket texture, added stripes to give the trim of her jacket some pizazz and some adorable flowers to the tops of her boots.  She is ready to pick out the perfect pumpkin!!!

~ La-La Land Crafts - Witchy Boo ~

Hi All,

I'm back again to share another project I made from La-La Land Craft's new release.  I don't think this cutie patootie witch could scare anyone.  I love using dies for what they aren't intended.  I cut apart the Cameo Frames Die and made them into pumpkin vines.  It reminds me of that moment in Cinderella where the Fairy Godmother turns the pumpkins into the carriage.  I turned the Stitched Bracket Border Die upside down and layered it to make it a really awesome card topper.  The Haunted Hill Border Die looks like even more of haunted house once I added the yellowish orange cardstock behind the windows.  It almost comes alive...eeeek!

~ LaLa Land Crafts - Batty for You ~

Hi Everyone,

Popping in to share my project for La-La Land Craft's new release.  Black and white cards are some of my favorite cards to make and this adorable bat from the new Batty for You Clear Stamp Set was perfect to use in this color scheme.  Isn't he the cutest?!!!  I created the frame using the Build-A-Frame Stitched Large Die.  This die is so incredibly handy...everyone needs it!

I stamped the bat three times and layered each layer with dimensional foam tape to give him a more natural 3D look.  I layered the oak leaves from the new Leaves Confetti Die to make them stand out with the Birch Trees Die.
