~ La-La Land Craft's New February Release - love you More ~

Hello and Welcome!

Today I want to share with you a very special card that has a whole lot of meaning for me.  La-La Land Craft's new February release is full of love and it made it easy for me to make a card honoring the love my husband and I shared.  He loved me unconditionally and told me every day he loved me more.  He was my biggest fan and always love seeing the projects that I made.  This is my way of honoring and telling him up in heaven that I haven't stopped loving him.

For my project today, I am showcasing the adorable mouse from the In My Heart Clear Stamp Set, the Love You More Die and a few fun papers from the new Hello Life Designer Paper Pack.  I love the patterns and the softness of the colors in this paper pack.  It's definitely a must have!

~ Here is a look at this FANTASTIC new release. ~

Seriously, could this mouse be any cuter?!  I think NOT!  LOL
To turn him into an angel mouse, I trimmed down the Wings Die Set to make them the right size for this cutie.

I love how the inside of the letters in the word "More" die cut out and allow you to either leave the letters open or you can add other paper to fill in the spaces as I have done here.

When I create from the heart, my HEART is full!  I am truly blessed to have been loved so beautifully!

~ La-La Land Craft's New February Release - Pardon My Frenchie ~

Welcome friends!

Today I am sharing with you another card I have made using La-La Land Craft's new February release.  The stamp set I am showcasing today is called, Pardon My Frenchie.  I love the name of this stamp set and couldn't resist using that particular sentiment on my project.

I adore the new designer paper pack called, Love You More.  The papers in this pack are vibrant and downright Gorgeous!

~ Here is a run down of everything in this AMAZING release. ~

NEW DIES!

Look at the precious face of this Frenchie...don't you just want to pinch her cheeks?!
I used Copic's Blending Solution and an old piece of terry cloth to give her buret and sweater some added texture.

I used a mixture of new and older dies to create my vision for my project today.  The Stitched Pennants Die Set has been out for awhile but I just added it to my arsenal and couldn't wait to use it.  I love how they are shorter and wider than the pennants in the Long Flags Die Set.  I love having a variety of different sizes to choose from when creating my designs.

~ La-La Land Crafts - with Love ~

Hello and welcome!  I am glad you are here.  Today's challenge theme at La-La Land Craft's is "LOVE".  For my project today, I am using this adorable fairy from the Sew Amazing Clear Stamp Set.

I chose sewing for my "love" theme today for two reasons.  One, my mother loves to sew and taught me how at a very young age.  Some of my favorite childhood memories are from watching my mom while she was sewing.  She was always "sew" happy when she was creating a new garment for me to wear or making Barbie Doll clothes.  She never made anything for herself, always for someone she loved.  I definitely get my crafty gene from her.  Thank you momma!  And two, I chose this particular fairy sitting on the thimble in honor of my husband.  He traveled all over the world for his job and he would always bring me back a thimble from wherever he was just to let me know he had been thinking of me when he was far from home.  I have thimbles from every state except Hawaii.  He had that tripped schedule before he had to retire but it had gotten cancelled at the last moment.  He was heart broken he never made it there so he could add the last "state" thimble to my collection.  Also, one of our favorite past times was to go antiquing to find thimbles, especially advertising thimbles.  It was always fun to reminiscence about our childhoods when we saw toys or items our grandparents had while trying to find a treasure.  Happy memories for sure!

I stamped the fairy on a piece of designer paper from the Endless Summer Paper Pack using Versafine Onyx Ink.  After coloring the image with Copics and adding glitter to her wings, I cut out her dress and paper pieced it using a glue pen.

I just love all that iridescent sparkle coming from inside the shaker from the sequins.

The dress form, scissors and pin cushion dies are so stinkin' cute.  The dress on top of the dress form was also die cut from one of the beautiful designer papers from the Endless Summer Paper Pack.  To give the scissors a more realistic look, I used pink and gray cardstocks to die cut and layer together. For the screw, I added a drop of Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops.  I also added different colors of Nuvo Crystal Drops to the heads of the pins sticking out of the pin cushion to also give them a more realistic look.  The precious itty bitty hearts on the dress form dress, pin cushion, banner and on the fairy's dress come from the remaining die cut hearts that pop out of the Lacy Heart Die.
