Welcome to Day 2 of La-La Land Craft's New June Release!

 Today I am showcasing In The Garden Marci.  Isn't she just adorable?!  Her outfit reminded me of one I would have worn as a child, so I used the new background stamp from the Simple Joys Background Stamp Set to create a gingham like design that was popular when I was a youngin'.  I just adore how sweet her assemble turned out!



Marci knows if she wants a beautiful garden, she needs to water it.  I added clear seed beads to fishing line to create water coming out of the spout of the watercan.  Squeeeee....how fun is that?!



To give the watercan texture, I stamped it with the background stamp from the You Inspire Me Background Stamp Set.  I really love how it gives the watercan a subtle tin like look.

~ Introducing La-La Land Craft's New June Release ~

Happy Friday Everyone!

Welcome to  La-La Land Craft's New June Release.  This release is not only full of cuteness overload but amazingly phenomenal dies!  Trust me, you will want them all!!!  Today I am showcasing the new Best of Cluck Clear Stamp Set.  I just adore chickens and this set is full of adorable cluck clucks!  This momma hen and her newest hatchling are saying hello.

I couldn't resist turning La-La Land Craft's Dog House Die into a chicken coop...I think it is so stinkin' cute!  To make the "EGG'S" sign, I took two of the sentiments from the Best of Cluck Clear Stamp Set, inked each sentiment, wiped off the part I didn't want with a baby wipe and then stamped them on the die cut.  Easy Peasy!

I used fun bright colors on this card that would cheer anyone up!

For my second project, I designed this card to really convey a "get well" message by having the appearance of the "Red Cross" emblem on it.  Also, some illnesses are more serious than others and need a more somber feel to the cards that are sent to the recipient.




This card would be perfect for the men in our lives because of the masculine look and feel it has.  The heart label on the medicine bottle is also a shaker on this card.  Hey, guys like fun interactive cards, too!

~ Whimsy Stamps - Miss You ~

Hi Everyone!

I'm back with you today to share another great stamp from Whimsy Stamp's new release.  I don't know about you, but I absolutely love the ocean!  I find such peace walking the beach looking for shells, listening to the ocean waves and looking into the horizon.



I love watching Pelicans swoop down to catch their prey..they do it with such grace and ease.  This new Pelican Stamp really conveys how majestic and elegant this bird really is!



I thoroughly enjoyed creating this little vignette of seashells in the corner of my card using the shells die from the Kinetic Straight Waves Die Set.  I love to scavenge the beach to look for shells and other little treasures...it's one of my very favorite past times!

~ Whimsy New Release - Ant You Sweet ~

Woo Hoo!  It's Whimsy Stamp's Release Week!

Today I am showcasing the new Ant You Sweet Clear Stamp Set and the new Checkerboard Doodle Background Stamp.  These stamps go perfectly together!  My poor little ant is having a rough day...it looks like he is seeing stars...maybe he indulged in a lil' bit too much Vodka...lol



I am totally in love with Whimsy's Farmhouse Shiplap Background Stamp!  I stamped and colored it with Copic Markers to make it look like the tablecloth is on top of a wooden table.  I also stamped it on white cardstock using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and used it as the wall.  The background is the same but totally looks different once it is colored...very cool!



I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the lemonade to make it look like liquid and Spectrum Noir's Clear Sparkle to the ice cubes and lemons to give them a glistening appearance.
