~ Second Look at Club La-La Land Craft's January 2019 Kit ~

Hi Friends!  I am back sharing a couple more projects that I have made using the January 2019 Club Kit from La-La Land Crafts.  I just adore this kit!  For my first project, I have made a panda angel shaker card.  How sweet is this panda?!

I used ultra-fine iridescent glitter on the wings and heart key.  I love how the glitter adds not only shimmery goodness but texture.



The shaker bits are a combination of three different colors of sequins and white baking sprinkles.

For my second project, I have created a new hybrid Tulip called the Panda Tulip.  I would definitely love to have a garden full of Panda Tulips growing in my yard!

I created the Tulips by using the Wings Die for the petals and the Heart Key for the stems.  The tiny hearts are die cuts that come out when you die cut the Heart Key.  They are so tiny and cute, I couldn't resist but adding them to my card.

Look how comfy they look nestled in their flower beds!

~ Whimsy Stamps...We Will Be Best Friends FurEver ~

Hi All,

I am sharing with you today a card I made using an adorable set from Whimsy Stamp's new release called, Adopt Don't Shop CATS.  Aren't these kitties just the sweetest?!  There is an adorable DOG version, too. Whimsy is donating a $1 for every sale of these sets to their local animal rescue league.  This campaign is near and dear to my heart, as all of my animal babies are rescued.  There is no better animal than a rescued animal!  You can find more information about Whimsy's Adopt Cats and Dogs Campaign HERE.

If you are a follower of mine, you know how much I love making shaker cards!  I reached out to another super fan of shaker cards, the sweet and uber talented, Jenny Dix, to see if she wouldn't mind me casing a card of hers that I fell in love with the design.  She told me to "go for it" so this is what I came up with.  You can see Jenny's card HERE to see where I got my inspiration.  

I used the Basic Stitched Ovals Die Set to make the frame around the kitties and added platinum silver brads to make them look like studs around a collar. 

I used the heart die from the Furever Friends Die Set to make a second shaker and added a silver ring to hook onto the oval to look like a tag on a collar.  Isn't this the cutest little shaker EVER?!

~ La-Land Crafts....You Are My Fairytale ~

Happy Friday Everyone,

I am using La-La Land Craft's, Knight Luka, for my Inspiration Friday project.  I thought he was fitting for not only a Valentine's Day card but to honor my late husband, Gregory.  He was my knight in shining armor and worked tirelessly to give us an amazing life!  

I embossed La-La Land's new background stamp from the Once Upon a Time Background Set with silver embossing powder to give it a stoney dimensional look of a castle wall behind Knight Luka.  The silver embossing powder really gives this card a beautiful and elegant look with the shine and texture of the powder.

I love layers...lot and lots of layers!  I cut apart and layered the largest Scalloped Rectangles Die to get the look I wanted.  I also used dies from the Nested Frames Large and Small Die Sets to give the card a knight's shield look. And, of course, you can't have a fairytale card without some flags. I am totally in love with how this card turned out...I hope you love it, too!

~ La-La Land Craft's Wonderful Unicorn Marci ~

Hi Everyone,

I am sharing one of La-La Land Craft's newest images called "Unicorn Marci."  I think she is just darling in her unicorn onesie and she was so much fun to color!  I decided to have her standing amongst the clouds in her dreamy wonderland.  Creating fun scenes like this is so easy using La-La Land Craft's vast amount of die choices!

I couldn't resist but texture her tummy so it looks soft and fluffy using Blender Solution and a texture rag.

~ Thank You Whimsy Stamps for Such an Awesome Release ~

Everyone is in need of thank you cards and Whimsy Stamp's new Thanks Word with Shadow Die Set is so cool.  You can use them several different ways. I chose to use all three dies together and paired it with the new Buffalo Plaid Background Stamp.  Using my Misti I was able to stamp the background so easily.  I just turned and shifted my paper each time using a different color of Memento Dye Ink.  You could have a batch of these cards made quickly and ready to go in different color combos.

When I designed this card, I didn't realize that "Living Coral" was Pantone's color of the year.  I just knew I wanted to use more springy colors because this girl is tired of winter already!

~ Whimsy Stamp's New Release is Shining Bright ~

Meet Whimsy Stamp's newest angel, Celeste, designed by Marina Fedotova.  Isn't she darling?!  I thought this sentiment from the Shine Bright Clear Stamp Set was perfect to put with her.  If you don't have this set yet, you need it!  It is full of awesome sentiments for so many different occasions!

Since the Sparkletz Winter Wishes jewels are a soft lilac and transparent, I was able to color on the back of them with my BV04 Copic Marker to get the jewels to really stand out and match her gown.  I took one of the Envelope Edger Dies and trimmed the scallops to fit at the bottom of the image layer.  I think this adds delicacy to this sweet card. 

Celeste looks so angelic with her sparkly wings and surrounded by Sparkletz's Crystal Stars.
